campania falanghina i.g.t.

vigne verginianae

Vines have flourished for over two thousand years on the inland hills of Campania, one of the areas in Italy where some of the most extraordinary wines in the world are made. The natural and millenary isolation of the people has helped preserve ancient native vines, which have come down to us not the least thanks to the enlightened work of the Benedictine monks of the Monastery of Montevergine (XII century) whose ingenuity combined aromas, nuances and contrasts, while also perfecting vineyard and winemaking techniques in Medieval times. One of the best loved white wines, Falanghina Campania Vigne Verginianae combines personality with balanced flavor and softness, culminating with agreeable persistence.

about wine
