Stop in Missouri

After many trips over the last twelve years to the United States, it’s time to stop in Missuori.

Bill Kneip, twenty-five years ago, founded Pinnacle, a dynamic distributor, which still makes personal relationships the driving force of its action.

Even if you follow routes made up of restaurants and liquor stores, a trip always gives you the opportunity to discover a few of the places you visit and the stories of the people you meet, some of whom have already crossed your path kilometers away from here.

The Missuori takes its name from the river of the same name that flows in the central area of this territory and which flows into the Mississippi River, the eastern border.
Traditionally it is also known as the Mother of the West for its central role in the westward expansion of the United States.
The wine and beer industries are also present on site, activities started by German migrants who arrived here in the 19th century.
In brief Missouri numbers today:
– more than 6 million inhabitants of this U.S. state, the twenty-first largest,
– eight are the neighbouring States,
– four major cities: St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Columbia,
– capital is Jefferson City.

Missouri culture is a mix that looks both west and south.
This is where musical genres such as ragtime, Kansas City Jazz and St. Louis blues were born.
The barbecue is another important occasion for the sociality of these places.

Fun fact: The Kansas City metropolitan area is divided between the states of Missuori and Kansas, with one road, the Stateline Rd, serving as the border.
The over two hundred fountains later earned them the nickname “City of Fountains”, a characteristic that would make Kansas City the second city in the world in terms of number of fountains after Rome.
