“The wine was once rough, dark and probably much more powerful than it is today. Showing careful evolutionary trajectory, the Terredora di Paolo 2009 Taurasi Riserva CampoRe has softened with time. It ages in barrique for tree years and sees considerable time in bottle, the bouquet reveals dried back fruit and prune with espresso grinds, spicy licorice, smoke, cedar and mahogany. the aromas develop nicely and fully in the glass, qhile the mouthfell is broadly textured and rich. This 9,000 bottle production should hold to the 20 year mark.” – Reviewed by Monica Larner, 6th Oct 2022
The Terredora Di Paolo 2013 Taurasi Pago dei Fusi (with 6,500 bottles made9 is a wide and sweeping wine with a broad set of aromas. There is cheffy confit, vanilla cream, spice, dried blueberry, grilled rosemary and even a hint of aged Parmigiano. This full-bodied is contemporary and relatively soft (for an Aglianico), thanks to 24 months in barrique. – Reviewed by Monica Larner, 6th Oct 2022
“Spunky and brigh, the 2021 Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra boasts fun aromas of fresh lime, crunchy green apple and curry leaf. The wine’s polished and lean-bodied mouthfeel culminates with dusty mineral tones of crushed seashell or sea spray. Greco in this classic 2021 vintage is racy and sharp. Some 100,000 bottles were made.” – Reviewed by Monica Larner, 6th Oct 2022.
“From the series “rises from the ashes”, the Terredora di paolo 2021 Fiano di Avellino Ex Cinere Resurgo is true to the variety with poached pear, sweet apple, quimce and crushed stone. this is the basic Fiano playlist, and this wine checkes all the necessarily boxes, The fisnish is midly creamy and texured while remaining very smooth. Some 90,000 bottles will make their debut on the market in fall 2022.” – Reviewed by Monica Larner, 6th Oct 2022.
