The International Wine Challenge (IWC) in London awarded Terredora with gold medals, focusing on award very different wines of great longevity rather than a more immediate drinkability. In 2016, the ever more iconic Taurasi Riserva CampoRe 2007 took the award, followed in 2012, Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra 2011. In 2007 Falanghina Irpinia was also awarded with the “2007 Trophy category” following Fiano di Avellino Campore 2004 in 2006. These awards are particularly prestigious because this competition – one of the most authoritative in the world - sees every wine tasted across three different sessions by 12 judges and is also evaluated in terms of loyalty to the style of the region and the vintage. While all this is important, it is also true that the greatest prize is always the awareness of making wines that are an authentic expression of the extraordinary wine-making history of Campania.
