In US Italian traditions are a must and our wine is for them more than a simple drink; it represents culture and a bond with a valued land rich in history .Vias Import – New York – is, in the U.S., the most important reference for the choice of Italian wines. At Vias Tasting Daniela Mastroberardino, representative of Terredora, tells the exemplary history and evolution of Aglianico grape in the southern Italy and in the heart of Mediterranean. She explains the characteristics of some of Terredora wines from the same grape variety: rosé “Rosaenovae”, “Il Principio” Aglianico and Taurasi “Pago dei Fusi”, the maximum expression, the latter, of what the United States considered the “king of South Italy”, the Aglianico.

Terredora: we dedicate the award to Irpinia and Lucio
The Vinitaly International Award 2013 makes us proud and gives us the right push for following the route we have been going through for years.
Paolo and Daniela say: we want to dedicate this award to Irpinia, the land where our roots deeply sink and which our family history is strongly interlaces with. As wine is a family heritage for us, the passion of our job is to give a voice to this extraordinary land through its vine fruits. The silent and laborious love has always characterized us and also our brother Lucio, so that, we are proud that his hard work has been mentioned among the reasons of this award; his job used to start in the vine and in the winery, making excellent wines smelling of Irpinia and then, going on abroad, where, thanks to his wines he had also promoted Italy.
We want to thank Veronafiere, they went on, sure that our field still needs many efforts , passion, care for the quality and a confident look at the future. With these aims Terredora will go on working and bringing – the rigorously and proudly Irpinia’s sons Aglianico, Greco, Fiano and Falanghina – all around the world.
A Taste of Terredora di Paolo at Snooth’s People’s Voice Wine Awards Tasting in NYC
Snooth, the largest online wine community in the world, gave critical power to its people. Snooth users voted for their favorite wines in a variety of categories during the People’s Voice Awards at the end of the year.
It was a pleasure for us to learn that Snooth users voted our Greco di Tufo into the #2 spot in the crowded Italian Premium White category. Enthusiasm for these wines was so great that Snooth decided to organize a public tasting inNew York City on March 23rd to showcase these crowd favorites, and we are happy to heed the call.
Terredora will be at the PVA Grand Tasting from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Saturday, March 23rd at The Altman Building, pouring our Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra and AglianicoCampania
In loving memory of Lucio Mastroberardino
“A life, however brief, lived with intensity between barrels and vineyards that will leave its mark on those who knew and appreciated him, thank you Lucio”.
